Before Your Appointment

To get the best from your treatment, please make sure to:

Complete your medical and consent forms before you arrive
(They take 10–15 mins, and I’m often back-to-back. If they’re not done and there isn’t time to complete them in clinic, I may have to turn you away – and a £25 cancellation fee will apply.)

– Arrive no more than 10 minutes early – this helps protect client privacy and keep everything running on time
– Avoid wearing makeup – clean skin is best for treatment
– No retinol, acids, peels, tretinoin or sunbeds for 5–7 days beforehand
– Avoid strong perfume on the day of your appointment
– Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your treatment
– Let me know if you take aspirin, ibuprofen or blood thinners, as they can increase bruising

These steps help me to keep you safe and get you the best results possible

After Your Appointment

Microneedling & Mesotherapy:

On the Day:

– Do not wash your face or apply products after treatment
– Sleep on a clean pillowcase

Next Morning:

– Rinse with plain water, pat dry, and apply the repair cream provided morning and night

What to Expect:

 – Redness, slight stinging, or sensitivity for 24–48 hours
– Flaking or dryness as skin heals (use Hyaluronic Acid moisturiser or clean oils like rosehip after 48 hours)
– Mild swelling, pin-prick bruising or red bumps (normal inflammatory response)

Under-Eye Treatments:

– Puffiness may last up to 5 days (sometimes longer)
– Minor pin-prick bruising or temporary bumps are normal
– I’ve never caused moderate bruising, so please don’t worry

Derma 2.0 Firming:

– You may see red bumps or flare-ups from temperature changes for 7–14 days
– These are temporary and harmless, but contact me or your GP if you’re unsure

General Aftercare

Your skin is more vulnerable after treatment, so be extra gentle.

Avoid for 48 hours:

ALL MAKEUP (including mascara), SPF, or any skincare unless advised

ALL SKINCARE products, unless I have personally recommended something
– Baby wipes, makeup wipes, micellar water, alcohol-based or fragranced products, even perfume
– Touching your face or letting pets near your face
– Sunbeds, hot baths/showers, saunas, gym, or excessive heat/sweat
– Harsh products like acids, retinol, exfoliants (avoid for 5+ days)
– Brow or hair dye near the treated area

What to Do:

– Use clean towels and pillowcases daily for 5 days
– Drink 2-3L+ of water to aid healing
– After 48 hours, wear Hyaluronic Acid SPF daily
– Take antihistamines if needed for swelling
– Use a non-active Hyaluronic Acid moisturiser
– Cleanse gently and hydrate with hyaluronic acid serum on damp skin, then hyaluronic acid moisturiser & hyaluronic acid SPF

(Professional, recommended clinic stock available)

Lucy's Personal Recommended Aftercare Advice (Days 2-5)

Once the first 48 hours have passed, here’s exactly what I recommend for best healing and long-term results:

Morning & Evening Routine:

– Cleanse using my clinic-exclusive Willow Bark Cleanser
– Splash face with water to dampen skin
– Follow with Hyaluronic Acid Serum on damp skin
– Apply Hyaluronic Acid Moisturiser
– Finish with Hyaluronic Acid SPF (daytime only)

Weekly Boosters:

– Use the Skin Glow Mask as often as you like, the longer it’s on, the better
– You can also introduce Zooki Glutathione Tablets, which are amazing for brightening, supporting skin healing, and protecting against pigmentation

Lifestyle Tips:

– Drink at least 2–3L water daily to support skin regeneration
– Take your Zooki Electrolytes & Super Stregnth Collagen daily. Non-negotiable for glow & firmness
– Stick to a twice-daily routine (cleanse, treat, moisturise, SPF)
– Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to avoid creasing and irritation

After Day 5 - Upgrade Your Routine

From day 5 onwards, your skin barrier should be stronger and ready for a bit more:

– Double cleanse if needed (cleanser x2, or cleansing oil followed by cleanser)
– Tone skin with Willow Bark toner
– Apply Hyaluronic Acid serum on damp skin
– Then layer in any additional serums like:

  • Niatamin 10% B3 Serum (brightening & evening out skin tone, fading pigmentation)

  • Willowbark Pore Serum (for pores, oil control, acne, congestion and clarity)
    – Finish with Hyaluronic Acid Moisturiser & Hyaluronic Acid SPF

Contact Dermatitis – Important

If red bumps, itching or irritation appear a few days after your treatment, it’s likely contact dermatitis, and unfortunately, it doesn’t take much to trigger it. This is why following my aftercare advice is crucial.

Your skin is more vulnerable while healing, and even one slip-up can cause a reaction. I’ve seen it happen.

Examples include:

– Wearing makeup (even “just mascara”) within 48 hours

– Using perfume, cleansers, or skincare too soon (even ones you've used before)

– Letting alcohol, wipes or micellar water touch the skin

– Fragranced moisturisers, “gentle” wipes or “natural” products that aren’t clinic-approved

– Sweat, friction, or touching your face with unclean hands

– Dirty pillowcases, towels, makeup brushes or sponges

– Pets sleeping near your face or licking your skin (yes, really!)

Remember: your skin is an open wound, healing and sensitive. What didn’t cause a reaction before can absolutely irritate post-treatment skin. Even if you got lucky last time.

If this happens:

– Use a mild over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream if needed (always follow label)

– Keep skin clean and dry (that means no makeup or products)

– Avoid all actives and use only what I’ve advised

– Contact me or a pharmacist if you’re unsure, please don’t guess

I will always help you, but I can’t undo what poor aftercare causes. So please stick to the advice.

Your results (and skin barrier) depend on it.

And that means no applying "Your SPF" on your way out.

And yes, I've had people do that before they leave.

Your Results Depend On You

This part’s important – your results don’t just come from what I do in clinic.

They come from what you do afterwards.

I give you the treatment, tools and support. But if you're not seeing the kind of results I'd expect? Nine times out of ten, it's because something’s been missed:

– Not drinking enough water (you need 2–3L a day minimum)

– Not following your skincare plan or using things that don’t support healing

– Skipping moisturiser or going without SPF (even once can set you back)

– Sunbathing or sunbeds – I’ve seen months of hard work undone in one holiday

It all shows in the skin. I know when you’ve not followed the advice.

This isn’t a guilt trip, it’s a reminder that your skin needs consistency.

What you do between appointments matters just as much as the treatments.

Look after your skin like it’s already perfect, and it’ll get closer to that every single day.

Treatment Plans & Maintenance

Each treatment and person is different, so your plan will be completely bespoke.

– Full results aren’t instant. Your skin needs time to regenerate, and collagen can take around 12 weeks to build

– Treatments work best when layered over time, with each session building on the last

– Skipping or delaying appointments can slow or undo your progress

– Maintenance varies depending on the person and the treatment. Some may be monthly, others every 3, 6 or 9 months

I’ll always advise what’s best for you, case by case.

I’ll never push anything you don’t need.

Treatments are not a one-time fix, they’re a long-term investment into skin that gets better with time.

Refusal of Service & Safety Boundaries

I reserve the right to stop or refuse treatment at any point if:

– I feel it’s unsafe, inappropriate, or no longer suitable
– You are unwell, under the influence, or acting inappropriately
– You are rude, disrespectful or aggressive towards me or any other clients

If you're rude or inappropriate before your appointment (via message, email, or call), I will cancel your booking and block you. I don’t tolerate abuse – online or in person.

If I’m not happy during your treatment, I will stop it immediately.

Your safety is my priority, and that includes the environment I create for every client.

Final Note

Thank you for trusting me with your skin.

I'm genuinely invested in your results and here to support you every step of the way.

If you're ever unsure or want to ask me anything, just reach out.

I'm always happy to help.

Love,

Lucy xx
